Our first Melfort sign

Leaving Regina we saw our FIRST sign for Melfort. It was really a milestone for me.
I walked by these "diggers" as my grandson would call them and thought I would take a photo for him.
This is a photo of a land formation called a coulee.
The restaurant is closing so I can't write any more! Home soon.

Hey Denise. I recognize that sign. We drive under it every time we go to Moose Jaw just outside of Regina. I am so happy to see signs that you are getting close to home. I am sure that you are too. I want you to know that I think of you every day and pray for you and Diane that God would keep you safe. My mom was asking about you today. One of the elders in their church was asking about the walk and if their was anything that they could take and present to the church. I had just happened to get something in the mail the other day from Careforce that had info on your walk so I gave that to her.
Love you and miss you. Melodee

Yay!! A Melfort sign -- what a concept! It's exciting for us to see that you took a picture of that -- visuals help to make it seem more real. I'm sure you are appreciating the cooler weather to walk in - you have really had everything but snow (I think) and let's trust that you won't see that before Melfort. As always, you are often in my thoughts and prayers - trying to imagine what it will be like for you to not have to walk and drive an Rv for 30 kms every day -- Keep safe, keep focused, and I'm looking forward to the celebration of God's faithfulness to you and your faithfulness to Him. Love and prayers, Maren

Denise I am so happy for you that you are getting a rest and time with your grandchildren. Only a couple of weeks to go and then you can start writing your book and go for a 10KM walk in the afternoon .
Ha ha. or somthing like that.
God is so faithfull in keeping you safe from every evil thing and keeping your heart and mind on Him.
Loving and praying for you-all and thanking God for the good that will be done in the Village of Hope.
Love Mom
